WOW! We're nearing the end of the year. I can't believe we are almost done. Here's what you need to know for the rest of the school year.
Spanish 1: Unit 6 Lesson 3 quiz on Friday. Your history projects will be assigned on Friday, after the quiz. We will be presenting these the last week of school. On Monday the 18th we'll begin U6L4. That quiz will be on Friday, May 20. We will take the Unit 6 Test on May 28.
Spanish 2: Unit 5 Lesson 3 quiz on Thursday. Your history projects will be assigned on Thursday after the quiz. We begin U5L4 on Friday. The U5L4 Quiz is on Thursday, May 21. The Unit 5 test is on Wed., May 27th. We will begin history presentations on May 28 with seniors going first.
Spanish 3: We will start U8L2 on Wednesday. The quiz is on Monday, May 18. We will have the U8L3 quiz on Friday, May 22. We will take the Unit 8 test on Thursday, May 28. This is your last day of Spanish class. Feel free to bring treats to share if you'd like.

Info for 4/14 & 4/15
Hi everyone! Here's what you need to know for Tuesday and Wednesday after we return from break.
Spanish 1: We won't be having class at all on Tuesday or Wednesday. I won't see 4th hour but I will see 6th hour. We will start with Unit 5 Lesson 4 on Thursday.
Spanish 2: We won't be having class at all on Tuesday or Wednesday as I won't see either class. We will resume on Thursday. Your review sheets are due that day and we'll be taking the Unit 4 test on Friday.
Spanish 3: Class as normal.

Info as of 3/21/2009
Hi everyone! Here is what we will be doing next week.
Spanish 1: We will start learning the family vocabulary. We will also be taking notes on possessive adjectives and more notes on how to express possession. You will be assigned a family tree project on Thursday that will be due on Monday. Our quiz will be on Friday.
Spanish 2: You will be assigned a writing assignment on Monday. You will have the class period to work on it. We will review on Tuesday and have the quiz on Wednesday. On Thursday we will read the 3rd part of the Isabel story and take notes on more irregular verbs in the preterite. We will take more notes on Friday.
Spanish 3: We will continue to read "La Gran Aventura de Alejandro". We will have a quiz on chapters 5-7 on Thursday.

Class Info as of 2/12/09
Here's what we will be doing for the next week or so:
Spanish 1: You will get homework (pgs. 55 & 56) that is due on Tuesday. We will review on Tuesday and have the U4L2 Quiz on Wednesday. On Thursday you will be assigned a project that we will work on during class on Thursday and Friday. It will be due on Monday, Feb. 23.
Spanish 2: You will get homework (pg. 56) that is due on Tuesday. We will correct that and review on Tuesday. The U3L4 Quiz is on Wednesday. After the quiz, you won't be watching Destinos. You will get the Unit 3 review sheet. This is due on Thursday. We will correct it and review for the test. The Unit 3 Test is on Friday.
Spanish 3: We are working on our zoo trip presentations today and Tuesday. They are due on Wednesday. We will also have a quiz on the future tense on Wednesday. Thursday will be show & tell and on Friday we will get new vocabulary.

Class Info as of 2/4/09
¡Hola! I'm so sorry I haven't updated this lately. I have been sick and just not up to doing much. Hopefully soon the doctors will find out what's wrong! Until then, here's what we're going to be doing:
Spanish 1: Wednesday we are watching another episode of Destinos and then discussing it. We will be doing a verb review on Thursday and Friday. We will start Unit 4 Lesson 2 on Monday, Feb. 9.
Spanish 2: Pretty much the same thing as Spanish 1, but we will be starting Unit 3 Lesson 4 on Monday.
Spanish 3: We will discuss our monsters on Wednesday. We will also be doing the verb review on Thursday and Friday of this week. We will begin with new vocabulary on Monday.

Update for Spanish 1:
Due to the pepfest tomorrow during 6th hour, our quiz will be on Monday. 4th hour please come prepared with other work. We will review a little and then you will have a study hall.
Update for Spanish 2:
Due to pictures yesterday, we weren't able to do what I had planned. So, everything will be pushed back one day. Our Unit 3 Lesson 3 quiz will now be on Monday.

Hi guys! Sorry I was gone yesterday. Here is what you need to know for this week:
Spanish 1: Wednesday we will be taking the notes we would have taken on Tuesday, along with the Wednesday notes. We will be practicing with these in class and you will have homework on Wednesday night. Please remember that we will still be having the quiz on Friday.
